1510 Gates
Description:
This is one of the many New Developments I branded while working at Nooklyn. 1510 Gates is a luxury apartment development located in the Heart of Bushwick. The building partnered with the Museum of Graffiti and local artist to have murals completed on it.

Final Logo Variants:
Focusing on the graffiti, history, and architecture of Bushwick gave me a lot to work with and I ended up creating a bold street art inspired wordmark.
Rejected logo options:
Typography:
For the main typeface I chose Knockout Ultimate Heavyweight, a traditional boxing poster typeface. It is bold and loud while being traditional. A typeface that has enough attitude and personality of its own to represent a neighborhood as vibrant as Bushwick.
The Secondary typeface is Open Sans. Open Sans is a Google font, that I chose mainly because it works well across web browsers while complimenting the logo.
The Colors:
The colors for this building were chose to match the color of the largest outside mural on the building.

The signs at 1510 Gates are co-branded with Nooklyn, who helps with the leasing of apartments.
